Extract from the presentation on the website of the Town Hall of Rosporden:
THE RENOVATION PROJECT INCLUDES:
* Emergency work to ensure the enclosure and cover of the building (work carried out in 2020 ).
* Restoration work on masonry and stained glass.
Bell tower :
– Cleaning of dressed stone facings (possible replacement of damaged stones by occasional grafting).
– Restitution to the origin of the mullions and networks of the skylights of the passageway
– Restitution of part of the gargoyles ensuring the evacuation of rainwater, mixed with other simplified evacuation systems.
– Various works on the bell tower to ensure the proper evacuation of rainwater with in particular the installation of lead cladding, copper terraces
– Removal of the floor which will be refurbished
